The subject area is located 8km North West of Savusavu Town, 1.5km from the junction before Jerusalemi village. It is accessible via the Hibiscus highway, 120 meters from the Naqere Industrial Sub-division.

Surrounding developments comprise of freehold residential and subsistence farming lots ranging from 0.1000ha to 6ha depending on the use.

The soil type is that of loose dark brown to loamy texture with high presence of soapstone and rocks having poor internal drainage but very good run off. These are predominantly the attributes of alluvial soils.
