Tweet this pageANZ Pacific Operations Limited (formerly known as Quest Limited) is a fully owned subsidiary of ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited).
ANZ Pacific Operations was established in July 2002 to centralise and consolidate the operations from ANZ’s 12 Pacific sites into a single centre of excellence. It has since increased its range of services and extended its coverage to some ANZ sites in Asia.
These services include Credit assessment and Support, Card Production and Support, Cheque Processing Services, Financial Reporting, an International Help desk that provides support for Pacific and Asian ANZ sites and a 24 x 7 Customer Call Centre. The total operation boasts 260 full time employees.
In 2006, a world class facility was developed at the Kalabu Tax Free Zone (KTFZ) with leading edge communication, technology and infrastructure which fully supported ANZ Pacific Operations operating model.
The Fiji Government declared KTFZ an ICT Economic Free Zone with special tax concessions to encourage new investment in back office processing and to encourage the growth of the ICT sector.
Upon completion of the facility, ANZ Pacific Operations moved into the Zone and commenced a 24 hour, 7 days a week service supporting it’s Pacific business.
ANZ Pacific Operations is seen as a pioneer in providing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services on a large scale from Fiji and often hosts visits from potential foreign investors.
KTFZ provides ANZ with excellent facilities at competitive rates and a great working environment backed up by a reliable maintenance support team from Investment Fiji that ensures operations are running uninterrupted around the clock. This allows ANZ to keep its Business Partners satisfied and ensures staff satisfaction is extremely high.
Since 2006, ANZ Pacific Operations has participated in a global survey (Hewitt’s Staff Engagement) to assess employment and has been in the Hewitt’s Best Employer Category for the third consecutive year in 2008.
The organizational systems and processes are subjected to external annual reviews via the Fiji Business Excellence Awards (FBEA) program and ISO 9001:2000, with the ISO Quality Management Systems accreditation being achieved in April 2008.
ANZ Pacific Operations has also been an award recipient at the Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Awards on multiple occasions.
