NEW INVESTOR INFORMATION
The Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau (FTIB) acts as the marketing arm of the Fijian Government for promotion of trade and investment opportunities in Fiji. In line with its core function, FTIB will now implement a new process for potential investors, to expedite all foreign investment proposals.
Accordingly, effective from 21 March 2011, all foreign investors and/or their designated agents must meet with FTIB before commencement of any ground work for their investment projects. All investment proposals are to be directed first to the FTIB before the same is forwarded to any regulatory authority, approval agency or relevant Government Ministry.
