Post 2010 TFL Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Awards

The Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau (FTIB) held its final sponsors briefing on Thursday 17th February, 2011 to present the 2010 TFL Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Awards accounts to the sponsors of the Event. The briefing was to inform sponsors of how the funds were utilized at the event.

The main sponsor of the awards, TFL were among the nine representatives present at the meeting.  In further assisting and supporting the Exporters, the sponsors had agreed that the surplus funds from the 2010 event be used by FTIB to organise an Export Awareness Seminar and Exhibition this year.
The Export Awareness Seminar and an Exhibition will be organised by FTIB later in the year in the Central, Western and Northern Divisions. The seminar will be aimed at disseminating and sharing information relating to exports on quarantine requirements, technical barriers to trade, customs, etc. Key speakers from government, private sector and non-government organisations will be invited to address the exporters at this forum.

The seminars and exhibitions will also provide an opportunity for the EYA sponsors to exhibit and promote their products and services.

FTIB Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ravuni Uluilakeba thanked the sponsors for their continued support. He had also presented a photo collage to sponsors.
