Fiji to Showcase Local Brands at Naturally Good Expo in Sydney

Investment Fiji, in collaboration with the Fiji Consulate General &Trade Commission in Australia & New Zealand is providing 8 Fijian companies the platform to promote their products at the international stage in the upcoming Naturally Good Expo, held in Sydney, Australia, from 3rd to the 4th of June, 2024, at the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour.

These companies will be travelling on their own costs to not only showcase their products but get possible leads and connections that could result in securing major deals.

Down to Earth Fiji, TaveNiu, Golden Ocean, Vinaka Agriculture, Juice Fiji, Lami Kava, Loloma Fiji, and Road Kings Farms will be representing the Fiji brand at the global stage during the 2-day event.

Fiji’s Trade Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand Daniel Stow said, “We’re pleased to partner with Investment Fiji once again for this year’s Naturally Good Expo - providing an important platform for Fijian exporters to showcase their products to a targeted international audience.”

“There are over a dozen companies being represented at the Fiji booth this year, allowing them to meet with prospective buyers and importers as well as get the latest insights into the Australian market and consumer trends they can bring back with them to Fiji,” he added.

Investment Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Kamal Chetty, also emphasized the importance of promoting Fiji made products to global markets.

"Events like Naturally Good Expo offer a crucial avenue for our local businesses to showcase their high-quality products to a wider audience," he said.

"This not only fosters export growth but also translates in to increased employment opportunities back home in Fiji, ultimately improving the lives of our people."

Chetty further highlights the significance of these events for Fijian businesses in staying on top of industry standards.

Fiji’s participation in Naturally Good Expo paves the way for these Fijian companies to connect with key industry players, expand their international reach, and ultimately contribute to the nation's economic growth.

Last year Fijian businesses which participated in the event were able to secure deals for agricultural commodities such as kava, yams and spices along with cosmetic products.

The Naturally Good Expo which concludes today, is the Southern Hemisphere's leading event for health and wellness retail professionals, has established itself as a premier platform for natural and organic industry players for over seven years.
