FIJI Water, America's number one premium imported bottled water, has once again stepped up as the major sponsor for the Prime Minister's International Business Awards (PMIBA) 2026. The company has renewed its Supreme Award sponsorship through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with Investment Fiji, marking the ninth consecutive year of this partnership. This is the longest-running collaboration of its kind for the awards, and it emphasizes FIJI Water's commitment to celebrating and lifting up Fijian businesses on the global stage.

The Supreme Award stands at the pinnacle of the Prime Minister's International Business Awards, with FIJI Water putting its name behind this distinguished honor. It is not a category that businesses enter on their own. Rather, the winner is chosen from the full pool of applicants across all categories.  The applications are assessed on commercial performance, its reach into international markets, its commitment to innovation, the employment it generates, its environmental stewardship, and the positive impact it has made on communities.

The theme for this year's awards is 'Economic Transformation and Inclusive Growth.' Spanning 16 categories, the event will celebrate businesses of all sizes across a wide range of sectors. It reflects Fiji's commitment to shifting beyond traditional strengths toward high-value industries such as business process outsourcing, agri-tech, and green energy, while using digital tools to make Fijian products and services globally competitive. It also highlights the importance of ensuring growth reaches beyond Suva and Nadi into rural areas, provinces, and maritime islands.

Other categories include the Premier Small, Medium, and Large Business Awards, Excellence in Innovation, Excellence in E-Commerce, Best Sustainability Initiative, and Employer of the Year, among others.
