Prime Minister’s International Business Awards 2025: Over 700 Guests Celebrate Excellence and a Path Forward for Fiji’s Economy
The 33rd Prime Minister’s International Business Awards 2025 concluded on a high note with an elegant gala on Saturday, November 29th, at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, bringing together more than 700 guests of Fiji’s business community.
Organised by Investment Fiji and made possible through the valued support of the sponsors, including major sponsor FIJI Water alongside several other corporate partners, the awards recognised excellence across 18 categories. A total of 18 winners were honoured on the night, representing a diverse range of industries from manufacturing, agriculture and tourism to services, innovation and export—highlighting the strength of Fiji’s business landscape.
The event, which was attended by business leaders, industry partners, government representatives and stakeholders, was widely praised by participants as a platform that acknowledged resilience, innovation and growth across Fiji’s public and private sectors. For many businesses, the awards served as both a validation of years of hard work and an inspiration to continue driving excellence, sustainability and competitiveness in the local and international marketplace.
The awards, held under the theme “Navigating Global Winds – Resilience, Innovation and Sustainable Growth,” recognised businesses that established exceptional performance, sustainable practices, and a commitment to innovation despite global economic challenges.
Delivering the keynote address on behalf of the Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Civil Service & Public Enterprise, Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka, Member of Parliament, Hon. Manoa Kamikamica, who was the Chief Guest, emphasised the critical role of the private sector in shaping Fiji’s economic future.
“Fiji’s private sector remains a vital driver of our economy, creating jobs, boosting exports and supporting diversification. With 212 investment projects worth over $6.2 billion in the pipeline and FDI forecasted to grow by 23%, this reflects strong confidence in the stability and direction of our economy,” Hon. Kamikamica said.
